Leaving For Maderia
Finally it looks like we're going to get out of Spain/Portugal for good. We were going to leave at 6am this morning - John went off last night to get final provisions (money to pay the marina, tobacco for me). He returned with a red pepper, a pack of mince and a long story about his phone call to natwest.
So now we're going this afternoon. We're back in the Western Union that we were in over 2 weeks ago.
Our first port of call with be Porto Santos. It's about 500 miles away. Forecast is a northerly 10-20, so hopefully we'll be in for a good sail. Should be there in a week.
p.s. there's lots of new pics up on the photo page of our trip to Ibiza.
Nick out.
