Rebel update
Just chatting to John which has given me a kick up the rear to keep this blog updated with his events. He's currently anchored in Tobago, Milford Bay, after a month in Scarborough. When asked for a snappy summary, he notes "life in tobago is like a tobagan ride but on treacle rather than ice". There's not much more to add other than he is currently anchored next to Prince Charles and Camilla - I kid not.
He is sending over some photos of pelicans and sunsets to make us all jealous, which I will stick up here when I get them.
As for me, things are comparatively much more pedestrian. I am going for a weekend away in near-by beach town Villa Gesell on Friday. In 10 days I am back to Brazil for a fortnight to meet the folks.

In my email box this morning...
Good day,
At 2030 hrs UTC I was in VHF contact with the yacht 'Rebel'. The position of the Rebel at this time was Lat 04º 08'.2S, Longitude 035º 27'.8W. The Skipper, John Stickland, has asked me to relay a message that his vessel will be delayed slightly and his current ETA at Tobago is now the 9th February.
Best Regards,
