Lisbon Bon

Looks like John has done the duty of covering most bases. And I see he's even used paragraphs this time round. No photos i'm afraid - did get a few snaps on the way in (including shots going under the bridge, snapped by John, which he claims are "Arty") but i didn't bring them with me. Should get some up before we depart. There might even be one or two of me in there. We've really pushed the boat out (Pun!) since we arrived. Went to the locally Resteraunte Al Flotilla (that's means floating). We requested the menu and was presented with a large slab of the daily fish catch. "This one - this Sea Bass" he explained. "And this - also could be Sea Bass. This one - this one Grupper. Look. Eyes. Fresh.". He demonstrated with a good prod in to the eye sockets with his rather unsanitary index finger. I went for Sea Bass, John has the potential Sea Bass and it was excellent. Last night we had steak, Vina Tinta (that's red wine in Portogese), and then a few beers at an Interesting Night Club. When I say beers they seem to serve them in 20ml glasses. And we thought LC was bad with their "pints". By the time we get to Cape Verde we'll be drinking out of thimbles. So in summary, everything is going swimmingly (not literally). We're both enjoying the time off chillaxing in the sun, and we expect to be here for 3-4 more days. Nick out.

Forgot to bring the GPS stuff and do the DFP again. I'll sort that out next time.

Nick, good to see you've made it abroad and haven't sunk yet. Just to let you know v6 is finally live to the public (though we've had it in the user area for a couple of weeks). Most of the bug fixes have been fairly minor and we seem to have managed to find our way round the bits you wrote.

If you like I'll ask the mrs how to say "filthy cheating diving scumbags" in portuguese, which I'm sure will crop up in conversation at some point while you're there.
